The Maison Gilliard Les Murettes appears a straw yellow color with the bright presence of CO2. The nose is flowery, with a slight character of the different areas. On the palate, its taste has mineral character, good presence of CO2, crispy, and intense.
Serve as an aperitif, or with hard cheese, grilled or pan-fried fish, with shellfish and seafood.
Maison Gilliard was founded in 1885 by Edmond Gilliard. He acquired the Clos du Mont and the Clos du Brûle-Fer located on the heights of the city of Sion. Thanks to our founder, we can pride ourselves on being one of the oldest wineries in Valais and are among the best-known winemakers in Switzerland.
A name that sings tradition, awakens the taste buds and encourages sharing. For over 60 years, the Fendant “The Murettes” is registered as the reference of this grape variety, a real emblem of Valais.
