Product Details
The wine appears a golden, pale yellow color in the glass. The nose is powerful and fresh with aromas of citrus fruits, fleshy fruits white such as pear and wedge, scents of garrigue and anise, with notes of hazelnuts grilled. The mouth is very fine and of a beautiful minerality, with iodized notes with touches of white pepper and flint. Lots of freshness in the finish with notes of acacia honey.
To be enjoyed with scallops fried, fish in sauce or as an aperitif.
A blend of organically and biodynamically farmed White Grenache, Bourboulenc, and Vermentino. The grapes are harvested by hand and are pressed pneumatic with separation of the presses upon their arrival at the cellar. After a slight static settling, the juice undergoes alcoholic fermentation in barrel. Barrel aging lasts between 7 and 8 months until the spring equinox with regular stirring, during two months. After a light fining, the wine is bottled.
Wine Spectator Review:
A seductive white, with juicy peach and apple details joined by hints of candied lemon peel and marzipan. Dense, revealing a robe of well-integrated toasty oak, with warm spice and salted buttercream accents complementing the fruit profile. Long, mouthwatering finish. Solid. Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc and Vermentino. Drink now through 2028. 5,000 cases made, 1,500 cases imported.
