Bold, yet elegant red wine with intense ruby color and garnet reflections. Opens with a complex bouquet with hints of cherry, fruits of the forest, spicy scents of violet and tobacco and a suggestion of minerals. Elegant, smooth, velvety and intense, displaying characteristic hints of plums, black cherries, black pepper and tar. It is full-bodied and austere on the palate yet with balanced tannins and acidity.
100% Aglianico. Maceration for about 20 days. Partial fermentation with autochthonous yeast starter, completed in French oak. Refined in French oak barrels for 24 months.

Vanilla bean and anise notes lace the flavors of crème de cassis, Earl Grey tea and dried fig in this fresh, medium- to full-bodied version, with creamy tannins. A tang of iron lingers on the finish. Drink now through 2025. 50 cases imported.
