The estate is located north of the appellation Chateauneuf du Pape on the town of Orange at the place called BOISLAUZON. Christine and Daniel CHAUSSY, the 5th generation of winemakers of this family, run the estate. Today, their children have joined them. We own different soils in Chateauneuf du Pape : pebbles on Boislauzon and more clay on La Gardiole and Palestor. - 19 acres of Cotes du Rhone Villages spread over 15 plots, within a radius of 5 km around the domain, places says: Boislauzon, Coudoulet. The soils in Cotes du Rhone Villages : pebbles and Clay. -2 acres of Vin de France The two oaks image that appears on all Mas de Boislauzon packaging is a sketch of the two oaks trees on the property that mark the actual border limits of the Cotes du Rhone Villages and Chateauneuf du Pape appellations. The cultivation is done in perfect harmony with the vine, the land and the climate. We prepare the soil, we prune, debud and green harvest the grapes. The grape harvest can last for one month, depending on the maturity of grapes and the climate. The process is handmade and we sort the grapes to the plots. All bottling is performed by us at the winery.
