The Clos du Bois Chardonnay is a rich and fruit forward wine. Aromas of pear and Gala apple lead to layers of baked apple with a hint of pineapple on the medium-bodied palate. The balanced finished is marked by a touch of toasted caramel.

The Chardonnay grapes for this wine were fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve natural acidity and fruit characteristics. To create a creamy mouthfeel, a portion of the wine was transferred onto French and American oak for secondary malolactic fermentation and aging.
