Mouthwatering and luscious, with intoxicating aromatics of melon, nectarines, white peaches and honeysuckle. The unique mix of oak barrels and native yeast add to the richness and complexity of this wine at the same time lifting the purity of the fruit and brightness of the wine. Tangerine, creme br?l?e and hints of ripe kiwi come together with a long bright finish.
Wine Advocate Review:
The nose of the barrel-fermented 2018 Sauvignon Blanc opens with notions of gunflint, candle smoke and lanolin with a crushed rock streak, very slowly segueing out to kiwi tart, freshly chopped herbs plus a core of pineapple skin and tropical-tinged fruits. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is rounded with great intensity of tropical flavor layers lifted by mouthwatering acidity and finishing very long, juicy and flavorful. A big, bold and utterly delicious style. 250 cases produced.
