This rye appears a deep mahogany color in the glass. The nose reveals notes of toffee, allspice, wood, and rich grains. Notes of sweet brown sugar and maple syrup on the palate dissolve into a sharp profile of green pepper and grass, closing with austere rye grainy spice.
