Product Details
The Monte Velho Tinto has a clear appearance with ruby color in the glass. The nose is lush, with notes of fresh red fruit and wild berries followed by a palate that is fresh and light, with an elegant structure and a balanced finish.
A blend of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Syrah, and Trincadeira aged in stainless steel.
Launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Esporão. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Esporão Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience.
