The grapes for the 2020 vintage were chosen from Whaler and Largo Ridge Vineyards. These vineyards are both located in the hillsides off the eastern bank of the Russian River between Hopland and Ukiah in the area known as Largo.
The wine has a beautiful black cherry character with distinct aromas and flavors of cassis, cocoa, elegant cigar box & beautiful dark fruits. This full-bodied and balanced wine has a richly woven texture and a lingering finish that displays evolving dark berry, vanilla and baking spice flavors. Pair with your favorite grilled steak, pan seared duck breast or a delicious Portobello Burger.
