Lucien Le Moine is a small House of Grands Crus in Beaune. It is a two people operation established in1999. Our choice of a small size and of doing everything by ourselves allows us to apply in details our technical perception and to adjust and respond to each vintage and each wine.
Burghound Review:
This is sufficiently reduced to push the underlying fruit to the background. There is excellent vibrancy to the sleek medium weight flavors that possess a lovely and sophisticated mouthfeel thanks to the dense but fine-grained tannins, all wrapped in a complex and lingering finish that flashes the hallmark austerity of a typically La Chanière. This is built on its minerality and old school in style so patience required. Drink 2031+
