Product Details
Full bodied and finely balanced with a light acidity. A robust aroma of black cherry and spice is matched by well balanced notes of leathery oak, tart raspberry, cherry jam and a hint of cloves. Long and refined on the finish with tannins that will allow it to be aged.
Red meats, poultry, stews, hearty vegetable soups, magret de canard with raspberry glaze, soft cheeses, chocolate cakes.
A blend of Merlot (1/3 to 1/2) and Cabernet Franc (1/2 to 2/3). Our wines are created from the transformation of grape musts or juices, with very little or no sulphites, and double fermentation. We then mature them without adding any other substances. 15 to 30 months aging in oak barrels and in vats.
