Product Details
An explosion of intense and fresh aromas, of white flowers and citrus fruits, well balanced by a pleasant minerality in the mouth, which will make you want to pour yourself some more. Also perfect as an aperitif, it pairs well with appetizers and first courses based on vegetables and fish.
This bottle was our very first label and still carries our idea of Gavi. The grapes come from Monterotondo, on the slopes of Mount Mesma. Calcareous soils, the so-called Marne Serravalliane, are poor and draining. Etichetta Gialla is a symphony of flowers and fruits on a mineral background that flow into a sip of rare elegance.
Grapes harvested by hand in the second half of September. Soft pressing of the whole cluster. Vinification in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 16 and 18 degrees. Resting on the noble lees for at least 5 months.
Wine Enthusiast Review:
This wine is a spring garden party. Aromas of green melon, pear skin, peach blossom and key lime, it's as pretty as a picture. On the palate, it's fresh herbal flavors. Refreshing wet river stone and a hint of salty goodness on the finish make the mouth water like a perfect lemonade. -J.P.
