Our Sauvignon Blanc is sunshine in a glass. The nose shows succulent aromas of citrus blossom, honeydew melon, and key lime pie over layers of pear, crème brulée, and hints of ginger. The palate features flavors of lemon and kiwi and scents of green apple. This wine is aromatic and bright with a crisp, clean finish.
Pair this light-bodied wine with lighter-bodied dishes, use the tropical fruit notes to cut through spicier dishes, or enjoy with fresh spring and summer produce and seafood dishes like seared scallops.
From its rough coastline to its towering Redwoods, through the rolling hills of its oak woodland and into brilliant red volcanic soils, the North Coast offers many distinct influences for the cultivation of grapes.
Once the grapes have developed the perfect tension between ripe fruit and bright acidity, they are picked in the early morning and arrive to the winery still cold, where they are pressed under anerobic conditions. The juice is sent to chilled stainless steel tanks to ferment for 3 to 4 weeks, which allows us to maximize the varietal expression and preserve aroma.
