The Joh. Jos. Prum Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Kabinett opens with aromas of white peach and stone fruit lead to a palate of wet slate, citrus, and a light honey tone.
Pair with apricot chicken, or spicy dishes like curry.
The famous wine estate Joh. Jos. Prüm was founded in 1911 in Wehlen, on the Mosel. It is one of the most unique white wine producers in Germany.
The Badstube borders on the Graacher Himmelreich, it faces south-south-west and south-west and, with a maximum slope of 65 percent, is less steep and thus also receives less sunlight. The name Badstube probably dates back to the Middle Ages - at that time hot springs were probably still bubbling there.
100% Riesling picked by hand, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tank.
