Ripe with fruit, this Bourgogne Blanc has citrus notes and a wonderful acidity on the palate, as well as fresh pear, apple and floral nuances. This chardonnay is round with notes of honey and white flowers and develops with intensity and has a formidable finish.
Burghound Review:
There is a lactic hint to the lightly reduced nose so I would recommend giving this some air first. There is excellent density and intensity to the middleweight flavors that conclude in a chiseled, youthfully austere and lemony finish. This is awkward but I suspect that the recent bottling has upset the balance and my rating offers the benefit of the doubt. Outstanding Drink: 2026+
