The Riesling Kabinett from the Dürkheimer Nonnengarten vineyard is characterized by a full-bodied aroma of peach and yellow fruits. Its taste is fruity, lively and appealing. The Riesling has an exciting sweet-acid balance and is a fairly light, drinkable wine rich in finesse.
Pair with linguine with orange sauce, green asparagus fried in fresh green olive oil and cherry tomatoes.
Though Darting has a history of grape growing dating to 1780, it was not until 1989 that the winery began to sell all of their grapes as wine under their own label. The family also maintains a highly regarded vine nursery, selling their grafted vines throughout Germany.
