Its nose is sharp, of medium intensity, smooth and very delicate. Classic aromas such as grape, plum, and quince meet more surprising ones such as fresh cane and cane sugar. This Blanche isn’t sweet yet silky and delicate. Beautiful aromas of bitter almond, vine flower and raisins highlight that finesse.
Very long on the palate, it can be served on its own or in a long drink associated with cucumber, elderflower or orgeat.
In Gascony, this grape variety is used for distillation (50% of distillations) as well as being a part of the composition of wines from the Côtes de Gascogne country. It usually brings balance and finesse.
