This wine has a ruby red color with purple highlights in the glass. The nose is winey with fruity cherry overtones and a dry, supple and fresh taste.
It pairs well with cold cuts, soups and white meats.
The winery has its roots in the first half of the nineteenth century. It rises on the gentle hills of Dogliani, in the Langhe, a land of great wines. The vineyard area, mostly cultivated in Dolcetto, covers about ten hectares and the vineyards are located at altitudes ranging between 440 and 490 meters above sea level. The historical documentation shows that Napoleon, during the conquest of these lands, was a guest of Cascina Lasagna since the King's secretary, guardian of the city's keys, resided there. From this historical fact originates the choice of the key wedged in the letter "C" to replace the emblem.
100% Dolcetto. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel.
