This is an organic dry white wine from the indigenous variety of Serifiotiko from the privately owned vineyard of the Chrysoloras family in the island of Serifos. “Hands down” winemaking, grape skin maceration for 5 days and ageing in amphora for 10 months.
Serifos is located in the western Cyclades, a complex of islands that form the earliest known cradle of ancient Greek civilization. While Serifos is inextricably linked with Greece’s mining history, the island also has a rich viniculture tradition, including its very own indigenous varieties.
