Please Note: This is a wine from The Jura region of France. Traditionally they may be aged oxidatively and be somewhat funky. It is an intentional style not a wine flaw.
Made by assembling 1/3 of Old Marc high 7 years in oak barrels, 1/3 of Chardonnay juice and 1/3 of Savagnin juice Unfermented, coming from the finest grapes of the field, the assembly being raised almost 3 years in barrel, ie a cycle of elaboration of about ten years. Aromas of figs, ripe pear, white plum, cactus flower, angelica, walnut, raisin. To serve lightly fresh for appetizer, tart tatin, crumble, sabaillon, walnut tart and jam, pudding, roasted figs, pear Belle-H?l?ne, cakes with spices or light digestive.
