In 1840 Giuseppe Borsci started to produce this liqueur in the little village of S. Marzano di S. Giuseppe in Apulia Italy, taking inspiration from an ancient recipe inherited from his ancestors. The historical yellow label still bear the double-headed eagle in honor to the family brand. Unique liqueur with an unmistakable aroma, versatile like no other. Borsci offers up notes of coffee beans, cigar smoke, prunes, figs, chocolate, vanilla, plums, cinnamon, cloves and liquorice. Enjoy, neat, on the rocks, with tonic, or in your favorite cocktail. Delicious on top of ice cream, in coffee, or milk. Excellent for pastry making.
