Eazy is a negociant project from importer Black Lamb. The Refosk is juice all from the Zaro Winery's organically grown vineyards. This would normally have been used in Zaro's wine bar as a wine on draft pour, but with Covid, they had no internal market for the wine. Black Lamb stepped in, had the wine bottled under this fun label and the rest is a dynamite glass of Refosk. What is Refosk? Only a rich full bodied red from Slovenia. Reminiscent of Syrah and well... Refosco from Italy. It is a bold and inky wine with spicy peppery notes and rich black fruit. All native yeast ferments, bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur additions. This is a tremendously fun red that works well with anything from oily fish, grilled meats and Slovenian cured ham (prosciutto is a nice substitute)
