The Valpolicella Ugolini family traces a path of excellence and authentic expression of the territory
All the wines of Ugolini are cru and come from distinct historical vineyards and each wine is a unique expression of a vineyard, the only item of a single plot
The philosophy is to bring out the personality, the terroir, the identity of the place where the vineyard lives: a synthesis of the highest expression of the native varieties and of each single plot.
The Valle Alta vineyard is located at 256 m above sea level, with soil composed of fossil marl and with ideal exposure and altitude for obtaining an important wine such as Amarone.
After the harvest, the grapes are placed in small crates to be dried in our drying center. When the grapes have lost more than 50% of their original weight, they are hand-selected again, crushed and fermented. Maturation takes place for at least 36 months in barriques and tonneaux, then in bottles for at least two years.
