The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 25 Years opens with a nose of soft autumn fruits, runny honey, crystallized ginger and raw cane sugar. An underlying rich oakiness creates complexity and structure. The initial bold vanilla oak flavors slowly dissipate to reveal layers of toasted marshmallows, fresh fruit terrine and cinnamon infused apple tart. The finish is exceptionally long with lasting sweetness.

Beeswax, Quaker Oat Squares, and candied orange dipped in milk chocolate on the nose. Generous vanilla flavors with a thick, layered mouthfeel of milk chocolate, golden caramel, and ginger, becoming creamier with honey, meringue, and sweet white chocolate in a finish that fades slowly, becoming noticeably drier. It feels less complex than other whiskies at this age, but the rich harmony of flavors is still utterly irresistible.
