The Shannon Ridge Playtime Red Wine appears appears a clear, deep ruby color in the glass. Aromas of lush red vine fruits, black licorice, and sweet spices lead to smooth raspberry up front on the palate with slight dried cranberry notes, flavors of clove, anise and cinnamon bring some spice to the finish.
The grapes used to produce our 2020 California Playtime Red Wine came from our family’s vineyards of the North Coast of California. A blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Tempranillo, Mourvèdre, and Petite Verdot.
39% Zinfandel, 25% Syrah, 20% Tempranillo, 14% Mourvèdre, 2% Petit Verdot
