A stunning blend with a brilliant red rim and a deep red centre. Initial aromas of crushed red berries and cherry tobacco, accented with oak spice and pencil shavings, evolve into generous black cherry notes. The palate offers a vibrant mix of red fruit flavours, transitioning to a refined, silky mouthfeel. Velvety texture and dense structure hint at excellent ageing potential.
This vintage pairs beautifully with beet entrecote, complemented by the earthy flavours of pan-fried pink oyster mushrooms, the sweetness of cherry-glazed baby beetroot, and the rich depth of a bone marrow jus.

Made from a blend of 41% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec, the 2020 Classique is fresh, with a soft and silky earthiness that glides with a fresh and ripe fruit essence. Medium to full-bodied, the Classique rides the line between the New World ripeness of fruit and Old World rusticity with velvety tannins and notions of turned earth.
