The bouquet contains notes of blackberries, blueberries and violets. Full-bodied with great complexity on the palate. Notes of spice and a persistent, lingering finish.
Stefano and Nicoletta Campadelle purchased this outstanding property in the 1990’s to make their home and live amongst their vines in the Marcellise valley of Valpolicella. An obsessive dedication to quality and a respect for the land has put Marion wines at the pinnacle of quality in the region. The use of appasimento (partial drying) in all their wines makes Marion unmistakably distinct and unique.
100% Teroldego
The grapes are harvested in mid- to late- September, collected in boxes and placed on tables in well-ventilated sheds for partial drying, which lasts 30-40 days. A portion is left on the vines until it reaches super ripeness, to be harvested in early of October, and then pressed. After fermentation the wines obtained are aged separately in 350 litre oak barrels from Slavonia for about 30 months.
