Bright straw yellow. Fine and constant bubbles. Clean aroma with predominance of primary aromas of white fruits. Very smooth on the palate, fresh, vibrant and with long acidity, and lingering aftertaste.
The Llopart family was first granted this estate in 1385, when primary source documentation records Bernardus Leopardi receiving a land grant that was already planted to grape vines. Production of sparkling wine began in 1887 and Llopart was consolidated into a fine winemaking house in the mid-20th century by Pere Llopart i Vilaros. This makes Llopart the longest continuously run family owned sparkling wine house in Spain. The family owns a 500Ha. mountain estate, of which 20% is planted to vineyards. In 2017, Llopart left the DO Cava to establish CORPINNAT as one of the six original founding growers with the goal of premiumizing the image of fine Spanish sparkling wines internationally.
Expression of the Llopart terroir, this Reserva Brut is made from the blend of the three indigenous grapes that are most representative of our estate. A very versatile sparkling wine.
The grapes are harvested by hand and whole-pressed to maintain their properties to the maximum. We ferment the musts at low temperature to preserve the freshest aromas in the wine. The base wines are bottled at the beginning of the year and the bottles are placed in the aging cellar, where, at constant temperature and humidity, in the dark, they will rest for more than 18 months. Once the aging time is over, we riddle the bottles and disgorge to remove the wine lees, add the Brut dosage and cork each Reserva Brut bottle with the definitive cork.
