The Hidalgo Pedro Ximenez Triana opens with aromas of dry figs, raisins, toffee and nuts. The dense, thick palate is balanced by fine acidity. Beautiful concentration and long, rich finish.
The Bodega was founded in 1792 and is owned and operated by the 8th generation. It has held a preeminent position in Sanlúcar since the 19th Century. The house manages 200 hectares of vines, all farmed organically. Most of them are located in the Pagos of Miraflores and Balbaina. The flagship wine, Manzanilla ‘La Gitana’ (The Gypsy Woman) is named after a woman who owned a bar near the docks. The wines have received numerous awards, both nationally and internationally.
The grape from which the musts for our Pedro Ximénez Triana come from is a Pedro Ximénez grape, subjected to different degrees of sunlight, and after very careful preparation, musts with great sugar content are obtained. Its fermentation, slow and at a controlled temperature, produces wines that preserve all the aromas and characteristics of the Pedro Ximénez grapes.
Made using grapes dried on straw mats, fermented and fortified, then aged in solera.
