Product Details

This hillside fruit from the vineyard’s red soils makes for a wine full of black pepper spice, rose petal, licorice and dark berry notes.

The wine was aged for 14 months in a combination of 20% new American oak, used American oak and French Oak. Enjoy this robust zin with grilled Sonoma County duck or game meats. It overlooks upper Chiles Canyon and remnant walls of the grist mill built by pioneer J.B. Chiles.

Wine Spectator Review:
A wine that suggests a sense of place, this is refined and just a hint rustic, which adds to the authenticity. Notes of cherry and pomegranate are laced with hints of white pepper and bay leaf. Drink now through 2030. 910 cases made.
