The Fattorie Isola Vermentino di Sardegna appears a straw yellow color with green reflections in the glass. The nose is fruity with a light aromatic mark followed by a dry palate with good minerality and persistence.
Enjoy as an appetizer with croutons of bottarga; with rice course; fish and white meats or with soft cheese.
Fattorie Isola was born from a project shared by the agronomist Luigi Cuccaru and the oenologist Renzo Panetto. The idea behind it was to produce a line of organic wines, obtained with grapes grown in Sardinia and produced in territories with a strong identity linked to the millenary cultivation of the vine on the Sardinia island. The desire to produce with full respect for the land, the farmer and the consumer, looking at sustainability and future generations: these are the reasons that pushed two friends who have always worked in the wine sector to undertake the organic challenge.
The wine is obtained from the wine-making process of Vermentino grapes, which are left to ripen untiI the end of September. The harvest is manual and before the vinification the entire harvesting is left to chill down at +5° C for 48 hours, with 12 additional hour of grapes skins maceration.
