A quite serious but relaxed Viognier. Pale lemon-gold, aromas are fragrant with ripe apricot and peach aromas. Palate is medium bodied and beautifully textured, being creamy and round without heaviness. There is lovely balance and purity, finishing with freshness and good length. Delicious as an aperitif or with semi hard goats cheese, peaches and charcuterie. A classy drop indeed.
100% Viognier from gore soils on Les Méjeans at Larnage, hand harvested in early morning, steel vat fermented at 18°C, raised 9 months, malo blocked.
