Product Details
The nose displays lemon peel, lime zest, green apple, and wet stone. Prominent chalk on the palate is accompanied by sea spray and slightly green citrus components. While this wine is crisp and precise, it also shows some fullness without being overripe or tropical.
Gilles Lesimple farms his vines with minimum intervention, to ensure maximum respect for the environment. Some plots are left with grass between the rows to help prevent erosion, but also to give the vines some competition, which helps improve the quality of the grapes.
