Its color is a pale pink almost gray. On the nose, this wine has a lot of finesse, but lets burst an elegant aromatic palate of red fruits like raspberries, cherries and blackcurrants. On the palate, it has a lovely attack that releases all its freshness. The balance between acidity and aroma produces a wine of extreme finesse.
100% Nielluccio. 50+ year old vines on terraced slopes composed of unique calcareous limestone, clay, and schist mix called Petra Bianca. Patrimonio’s hillsides rarely require treatments of any kind, so Eric’s practices are essentially organic (though without certification). The grapes are picked by hand and then undergo direct pressing followed by settling at a low temperature. The juices are then vinified in stainless steel vats.
