The Bodegas Granbazan Albarino Etiqueta Verde appears faint translucent and bright yellow in the glass. In the nose is lively and intense, with a marked tropical profile, ripe stone fruit, mandarin and subtle notes of marzipan and brioche. On the palate it is powerful, warm and robust, but refreshing acidity. The finish is long and salty.
Pair with seafood, such as “Pulpo a feira” or natural preserves (mussels, scallops, cockles etc.). Little spicy white meats and cheeses such as Camembert, San Simón or Cabrales.
Made from the best cold macerated musts by mixing the drop and soft pressed of Albariño grapes, the vineyards of over 35 years old, from a soil with a high granite content, on the banks of the Arousa estuary, and with a strong Atlantic personality .
A classic Albariño with the characteristics of the Salnés subzone, where the citrus and green apple aromas predominate, with a fresh acidity, dry, and a salty aftertaste.
Wine Enthusiast Review (Editors' Choice):
Aromas of ripe summer peach, lemon zest, wet river rocks and honeysuckle waft from the glass. This wine is full in the mouth and has brilliant acidity. It offers flavors of orange marmalade, peach pie, lemon, and dried herbs de Provence. -M.D.
